Pā Project
The Pā is the state-of-the art 6,500sqm main entrance and student hub at the University of Waikato. Completed in 2023, this project marks the largest capital investment in the university history.
Feisst Group provided electrical, data and communication, building automation and fire protection services - delivered by Feisst Electrical, Structured Technologies & Select Alarms teams.
Feisst Electrical teams delivered power and lighting to compliment the high architectural finishes, with full lighting control measures implemented throughout the building.
To compliment the highly architectural finish, the team had to innovate with new, often creative, solutions for running cable through exposed areas where there were no ceilings. Creative use of cable trays, conduits and catenaries ensured the concealment of cables.
The project took three years to complete.
